Paper and Panel Proposals

Individual papers
PSi19 welcomes individual papers that speak to the conference theme of "Now Then: Performance and Temporality." The conference organizing committee will pair papers that address similar issues in order to create panels.

Please submit individual abstracts of 300 words to PSi19Submissions@gmail.com by November 18, 2012. State at the top of your submission document your name, contact information, and affiliation. Include the words "Individual Paper Proposal" in the subject line of your email. Include your proposal as a PDF (preferred) or an Word Document. Include your last name in the file name of the document.

Panel Submissions
PSi19 invites submissions for complete panels. Panels should have three or four participants, and their papers should be unified around a theme related to the broader conference topic of "Now Then: Performance and Temporality."

Panel abstracts should be 800 words in length, and should describe the unifying theme and the individual papers. Be sure to list the names, contact information, and affiliations of all panelists and contact information for a single point-person for the organizers to communicate with. We encourage panel submissions to include a chair, and proposals may also list a respondent. Send abstracts to PSi19Submissions@gmail.com by November 18, 2012 with the words "Panel Proposal" in the subject line of your email. State at the top of your submission document your name, contact information, and affiliation. Include your proposal as a PDF (preferred) or an Word Document. Include your last name in the file name of the document.

Roundtables
PSi19 will also accept proposals for roundtable discussions. These conversations should take up at least one of the provocations of the CFP. Please limit the number of panelists to seven (7), and state in your proposal who will moderate the discussion. Roundtable discussions will be granted either a 90-minute or a 120-minute time slot. Please be sure to state clearly in your proposal what kind of space and chair/table arrangement you are requesting.

Include the words "Roundtable Proposal" in the subject line of your email. Please designate a point person for the organizers to communicate with.
